Xinhui Orange Peel, also known as Chen Pi, is a premium dried mandarin orange peel produced in Xinhui, a district in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, China. It is a renowned traditional ingredient in both Chinese cuisine and traditional medicine, prized for its rich aroma, flavor-enhancing properties, and health benefits.

Xinhui orange peel is made from a specific variety of mandarin oranges called Da Hong Gan (大红柑), known for their thick, aromatic peels. Xinhui orange peel is aged for 3 years or more, with premium varieties aged for decades. The aging process intensifies the aroma and enhances its medicinal properties. It has a distinctive citrus fragrance, with aged peels offering a mellow and slightly sweet taste alongside a hint of bitterness.
